CES 2012: Intel Booth Tour

Intel is trying really hard to enter the mobile game. At the CES in Las Vegas, the chip maker demonstrated its Atom-based reference smartphone and announced deals with Motorola and Lenovo. The Chinese company could easily help Intel quickly get traction in the world’s most populous country, eventually reaching millions of units shipped within a short period of time. On the other hand, going to bed with Motorola means teaming-up with Google, and that’s also a good sign. The question is whether Intel will succeed this time, with ARM having almost 100% of the smartphone and tablet markets. We’ll see how that goes and in the meantime, here’s how Intel’s booth looks like…
