Good news for those of you with Nokia N9 smartphones. The Finnish company has released a new software update for developer devices (i.e. Nokia N950) and will follow with the real deal after the new firmware is thoroughly tested. The software we’re talking about here is PR 1.2, the same one we’ve seen leaked almost two months ago.
Now you may wonder when you will be able to download it. The sad news is that now that developers got to test the new software, it will take another 4-6 weeks until it’s ready for the end users. In other words, you’ll probably have to wait until the end of March.
As for the new features included in PR 1.2, there are video calls, in-browser copy/paste with brackets (similar to iOS and Android), new camera interface, additional gallery features and many other under the hood changes. In a nutshell, you’ll want to update the second your N9 prompts you to do so…
