Remember Fotopedia Heritage, that awesome iOS app that takes you to the world heritage sites through thousands of photos? Well, it has been updated yet again and we can’t help but suggest you to download it, or update the existing installation if you already have it running on your iPhone, iPod Touch and/or iPad.
The premise of the app remains the same, providing a “virtual passport to the hundreds of sites that constitute the world’s collective cultural and natural human legacy.” There are more than 30,000 photos of the world’s most breathtaking vistas spread across 936 World Heritage sites, from the Aachen Cathedral to the Zytglogge.
Version 4.0 also adds weekly updated content that is delivered as Visual Stories, allowing travel enthusiasts, world explorers and photographers to discover a new site regularly.
Of course, you can still share your favorite photos with friends via email, Facebook and Twitter. Open Graph integration is there as well, enabling seamless sharing of your explorations with Facebook…
