Google updated its Google+ app for iOS-based devices. The main new thing is Instant Upload, which once enabled will automatically upload all your photos and videos to a private album on Google+ from where you can easily share them with your circles, or the world. Please note that this new feature is only active while the Google+ iOS app is open, and for a brief period after you close it. Re-opening the Google+ app will resume uploads exactly where they left off.
In addition, there’s a new “What’s Hot” stream, and the ability to shake your phone to send feedback to the Google+ team to help improve the overall experience. Finally, the new version of Google+ for iOS also comes with various bug fixes and performance improvements.
All in all, you should update your Google+ app from the AppStore; or, if you still don’t have it running on your iPhone, iPod Touch and/or iPad, and want to be able to do so – grab the application from a link below.
