AppSpotr thinks we’re just at a start of the mobile app revolution and that there’s a place for another do-it-yourself (DIY) app making service. They intend to officially open their virtual doors at Mobile World Congress, allowing anyone to create mobile apps without almost any technical skills, though I guess they assume you have some website or blog, which RSS feed will be used for the app’s content.
According to the press release we got, AppSpotr will make both app building and maintaining easy, and judging by the screenshots we’ve seen – they may be onto something.
Perhaps more interesting is AppSpotr’s ability that allows testing and previewing of native apps before they’re published to the app markets. Speaking of which [app markets], AppSpotr will work with Apple’s AppStore and Google’s Android Market, though I guess they’ll be extending to other platforms after some time.
