We’re live from Mobile World Congress 2012 and one of the cool things about it is we get to hang out with companies that we normally don’t interact with much like Fujitsu. We popped by its booth and saw it absolutely torture testing phones, so check it out.
Fujitsu was making a big deal about how its phones and tablets are waterproof and it makes for an awesome demonstration. As you can see from the video below, its tablets and phones work fine outside of water and can then survive being submerged. It’s pretty cool how quickly the water beads off of it and you can get back to swiping around.
It’s not just water though, as Fujitsu also has a machine which constantly drops iron balls on its Arrows smartphones. With a gorilla glass screen, these can stand up to the abuse.
