SwiftKey launches SDK, wins Most Innovative App at MWC

Guys from SwiftKey are having a time of their life at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. They’re out with an SDK that will expand their reach to even more users, who in turn will be able to type faster on their touchscreen devices. The idea is simple – rather than offering it as an app, OEMs can use SDK to embed SwiftKey’s virtual keyboard onto their devices.

But why would OEMs care about SwiftKey? Simply put – it’s by far the best on-screen keyboard solution out there with cutting edge prediction and correction technology, and as such it is already loved by millions of users around the world, myself included.

Actually, it’s not just users who love SwiftKey, experts praise it, too. As a matter of fact, SwiftKey won Most Innovative App at Global Mobile Awards 2012 in Barcelona. The company was up against some tough competition, including Google Wallet and Shazam, making the accomplishment that much bigger. According to the judges, SwiftKey’s technology makes “typing on smartphones and tablets so much easier.” Couldn’t agree more…
