AT&T announced its bringing 4G LTE to a handful of new cities in the next few months. There’s no precise timetable, only a rolling launch schedule that includes April, May and the early summer. The short list of cities includes:
- Cleveland, Akron and Canton, Ohio
- Naples, Florida
- Bloomington, Lafayette, and Muncie, Indiana
- Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana
- St. Louis, Missouri
- Bryan-College Station, Texas
- Staten Island, New York
AT&T counts its HSPA+ network and, now with LTE, the carrier claims to have two 4G networks that work together for customers. AT&T, like T-Mobile and Verizon, says it has the nation’s largest 4G network with coverage for over 250 million people.
