Allrecipes.com updated its popular Dinner Spinner and Dinner Spinner Pro apps, adding a very cool feature to the mix – Grocery Scanner. As you can imagine, it allows you to use your smartphone’s camera (whether it’s an iPhone or some Android-based device) to add some grocery to the shopping list or to see recipes containing that grocery. So it’s not just that you’ll be populating your shopping list easier, but will also be able to take advantage of sales and special offers in the local super-market, determining whether some item is good for some meal you like or not. And considering Allrecipes.com’s database is one of the biggest around, you’ll definitely find some delicious meal.
But that’s not all – Allrecipes.com also announced that the Shopping List feature, which was previously only available for Allrecipes.com Dinner Spinner Pro, is now available on the free version of the app, as well.
