Setster released an appointment scheduling API for DailyDeal companies, which could then provide the capability to their merchants.
The problem merchants face when using DailyDeal sites is that they often find their manpower unable to tackle-on the vast interest these deals bring in, thus generating negative feedback for both the deal company and the merchant. Groupon solved this issue by buying an established company that offers a scheduling solution, while other (smaller) players can’t afford to do the same. Enter Setster, which white labeled API provides DailyDeal and promotional companies with the same solution at a fraction of the cost.
Using the API, DailyDeal companies can integrate the scheduling solution both on their own and their merchant’s website. After a purchase has been made, buyers are directed immediately to schedule an appointment with the merchant. These appointments are pre-set by the merchants with specific allocated time and dedicated service providers for this specific deal.
Everyone wins – DailyDeal providers and merchants deliver on their promise, while customers get what they paid for without waiting. Kinda neat…
