Great news for you hackers out there, as Samsung has released the source code for its Galaxy S III. The source code was released due to the launch of the Galaxy S III in 28 countries. You better bet your last dollar that the folks over at CyanogenMod will be baking up CM9 for you Galaxy S owners.
It’s odd that Samsung has made this source code available so quickly, as the company is notorious for poor customer service when it comes to updates and releasing code. If you’re the tinkering type, you can get the download to the source code by clicking here. If that link doesn’t work, you can head over to the link Android Police provided courtesy of Github.
Okay, who’s planning to bake up an awesome ROM?
