Latest iOS game that caught our eye, Rebel Hero, comes from a company called BarbaricCo, which is Bosnia and Herzegovina-based company. What’s especially interesting about BarbaricCo is that it made an iPhone game even though the country has no App Store of its own. Pretty cool, right?
Anyway, Rebel Hero is an action side-scroll shooter with original cartoon style characters and music, inspired with traditional legends and stories about outlawed brigands and freedom fighters known as hajduk from the Balkans, Central- and Eastern Europe.
The storyline is typical for the genre with evil hordes taking over your homeland and stealing your beloved. It’s your time to rebel against them and fight your way through waves of bandits. Pick items, strategically spend money and try to save your loved one.
There are 40 levels included as well as 12 unique weapons spread across 3 different classes, 5 environments, 3 difficulty levels and popular boss fights… All this could be yours for mere 99 cents which really is not that much. Give it a try and let us know how you like Rebel Hero.
