Get your trigger finger ready as the zombie apocalypse is coming soon to your Android device. Starting tomorrow July 3rd, Android owners will be able to join their iOS friends and blow away post-apocalyptic, virus-infected zombies thanks to Madfinger’s Dead Trigger. Dead Trigger is a first person shooter whose primary objective is to kill zombies before they kill you.

Made by the developers behind Shadowgun, Dead Trigger has detailed graphics, 3D music effects and gameplay that’ll keep you on the edge of your seat. If you’re a Tegra 3 owner, you’ll get an even better experience as the app has bundled a few extra tweaks to support the beefier processor of NVIDIA-powered devices like the Google Nexus 7. In case you are wondering, Tegra 3 owners will get ragdoll physics, volumetric fog, specular lighting, and enhanced fluid and water. You can check out the trailer of the Tegra 3 version below. Be prepared to be blown away by what you see.

Dead Trigger will be available in the Google Play Store for $0.99 starting on Tuesday, June 3rd. The iOS version debuted today July 2nd and is available as a universal app for the iPad and iPhone.
