SHAPE Services is making a special version of its popular Business Card Reader application for the iPad. The new Business Card Reader HD takes advantage of the bigger screen Apple’s tablet rocks, providing extra information (and options) on a single screen.
The main idea remains the same, allowing you to take a photo of business card and quickly/automatically input that information into your address book.
The software provides accurate recognition of business cards with support for multiple languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Danish, Dutch, Greek, Norwegian, Portuguese, Swedish, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Moreover, there’s smart contact field filling for emails, phone numbers, websites and more. Additionally, you can integrate with existing CRM systems, LinkedIn (search for contacts / import of info and photo), search and sort contacts and emails, and even call people directly from within the app…
