Nokia announced on its official blog a change to its Maps application for Windows Phone users. The Finnish company has updated Maps with Groupon integration, which will show users where they can expect to find deals in their local area. Now Nokia Windows Phone customers get easy access to do a little bargain shopping when they’re traveling and using their Maps app.
The way this new Groupon feature works is it’ll let users click on the Groupon deals advertised on the Maps application, which then redirects users to Groupon’s mobile site where they’ll have the opportunity to take the deal.
Unfortunately, this Groupon feature is only available for users in the United States, and there is no word when it will hit countries in the United Kingdom.
Nokia Maps users out there, do you find the addition of Groupon integration intrusive?
