Audio book service Audiobooks.com launched free iOS and Android apps for its members. The great thing is that you can download books and listen them at a later date even at places where there’s no Internet access around. Members can download up to two audio books at a time, which is more than you need (at least that’s my case).
Feature wise, the application supports automatic bookmarking so you can easily pick up wherever you left off. Moreover, there’s a sleep timer that ensures the audio book won’t continue playing indefinitely if you fall asleep. Finally, Audiobooks.com will also automatically pause listening when you receive a phone call.
The Audiobooks.com service gives members all the audio books they want for $24.95 per month – there are no restrictions on the number of audio books you can download or stream.
