Nokia’s Lumia 920 coming to Europe in November

Reuters is reporting this morning that the recently announced Lumia 920 Windows Phone 8 flagship device will make its way to European store shelves in early November. An executive at a smaller eastern European-based telecommunications company told Reuters that the company would start selling the Lumia 920 in late November, with major European carriers expected to sell the device a few weeks earlier.

While still two months away, the release date lines up with expectations for the launch window for Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 platform, which is expected to be finalized around October 29th. Nokia has a lot riding on the success of the Lumia 920 and 820 smartphones, so a timely and global launch is imperative. We’ll (not so) patiently wait for pricing and final availability details from Nokia, which is expected in the coming weeks.
