Netflix has been working over the past several months to update its user interface on mobile phones and tablets. The updated UI first made its way to Android and iPad tablets late last year, then came to the iPhone last week. Netflix has announced this morning on the company’s blog that the update is now available for Android phones as well. The update brings larger artwork, better search functionality, and quicker, easier scrolling through titles to devices running Android 2.3 and up, which should cover about 83% of Android users.
The update for the Netflix for Android app should go live in the Play Store shortly. In the meantime, you can check out what the update will deliver in the following release video.
