LG Nexus allegedly poses for the camera again

Tech site Onliner has purportedly gotten its hands on a prototype LG Nexus device (codenamed Mako), and has posted pictures and specs for all the world to see. The Mako is running the hot-off-the-presses Android 4.1.2 build of Jelly Bean, and carries a quad-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4, a 4.7″ 1280 x 768 display, and 2GB of RAM. The Mako sheds the Optimus G’s 13 megapixel camera in favor of a slimmed down 8 megapixel shooter.

As has been suggested in previous leaks, the Mako currently being tested by the Onliner holds just 8GB of RAM, and there’s no word of an SD card slot to expand the storage. We’re hoping the final build of the LG Mako/Nexus adds internal storage or an SD card slot, as 8GB is simply not enough for the bigger, better applications and games companies are releasing.

The LG Nexus, complete with its final moniker, is rumored to be unveiled on the 29th, so it shouldn’t be too long before we learn the full details of LG’s first pure Google device.
