Anyone who has experienced the Borderlands franchise knows how awesome the games are. Borderlands has helped propel 2K Games back into profitable territory, and Borderlands 2 is easily one of the must-have games of 2012. Earlier this month, 2K announced that an iOS adaptation of Borderlands would land on the App Store this month, and today Borderlands Legends is available to download for $4.99 (iPhone/iPod Touch) and $6.99 for the iPad version.
Borderlands Legends lets you control any of the 4 main characters from the original Borderlands game, and tasks you with blasting through hordes of familiar enemies. The game is touted as a combination of the action-RPG gameplay we’ve come to expect with Borderlands, and the top-down strategic gameplay perfectly suited for mobile devices.
