T-Mobile.com offering up HTC One S in black for free on contract

Earlier this Spring, T-Mobile offered up one of HTC’s latest flagship devices, the HTC One S. While some specs paled in comparison of its bigger, AT&T-bound brother, the One S was, and still is one of the nicest handsets available for T-Mobile. However, instead of the sexy black One S, T-Mobile only offered up the grey/blue colored handset. Until today.

For a limited time, T-Mobile.com will be offering up the HTC One S in black for free (after $50 mail-in rebate) on contract. The micro arc oxidation process makes the black One S a sturdy handset that feels incredible in the hand, and T-Mobile USA customers finally have their chance to get one of their own.

While there’s been a flood of new devices since April when the One S launched on the carrier, it’s still rocking some top-notch hardware. The handset has a 4.3 inch qHD display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, a great 8 megapixel camera, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich packed inside that still allows it to hold its own against newcomer’s in T-Mobile’s portfolio.

If you’re not looking to shell out $200+ on a new smartphone for T-Mobile, you might have found the perfect option in the HTC One S.
