Today T-Mobile started rolling out Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean updates to the Samsung Galaxy S III. Magenta has the update available through the over-the-air system and Samsung’s Kies application. The new upgrade brings a slew of fixes and improvements:

- Keyboard improvements
- Prerequisites

- Data connection
- File size of update is 344 MB (it is recommended to connect to Wi-Fi to complete the OTA)
Unfortunately, those of you rocking the GSIII on AT&T will have to wait a bit longer. Other than that, if you’re on T-Mobile and can’t wait to get the update pushed to your handset, then head into Settings > About device > Software update to see if it’s available.
