Sony's 2013 flagship to rock a 5-inch 1080p screen, 3GB of RAM, 16MP camera, 128GB of built-in storage and 3,000mAh battery?

We’ve already heard that Sony is preparing to launch a monster-phone next year, perhaps even from the floor of CES in Las Vegas. Now we’ve learned that the Japanese company may not have one, but two devices with a 5-inch screen, one of which will be the best-of-breed smartphone.

It is said that Sony’s flagship for next year will come with Samsung Exynos 5 quad-core processor, which is kinda strange since the Korean company is Sony’s biggest rivals in the Android smartphone market. In addition, we’re hearing that the forthcoming device will also pack 3GB of RAM, 128GB of built-in storage, 16-megapixel rear camera, and a 3,000 mAh battery. Plus, all this will be crammed into a dust- and water-proof body, making for a that much sweeter deal.

The way I see it, Sony really needs to beef-up its offering and finally launch a newsworthy device everyone craves for. If such smartphone comes with the specs listed above, they may have a chance to get back to the market, big time. Can’t wait for the CES…
