I would assume Verizon Wireless employees (and employees of all carriers for that matter) benefit from getting the latest devices for less while also paying less for the service. Like that’s not enough, the Big Red carrier wants to further make its staff happy by providing them with special edition smartphone that other (read: regular) users won’t be able to get. The newly leaked HTC Droid DNA Verizon Employee Limited Edition comes in red, while featuring serial number on the back of the phone to further emphasize its uniqueness.

These devices have apparently started arriving to Verizon employees who have ordered them and one of them [employees] took two images of its Droid DNA which we’re showing above. As you can see for yourself, this unit has a red back that flows around the device onto the sides. It’s pretty cool but aside from the new paint job and the mark that it’s reserved for Verizon employees, there are no any other changes included. In other words, the red Droid DNA also comes with a 5-inch full HD screen, quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 4G LTE connectivity support, 8MP camera on the back, and so on and on…

In case you wonder, we’ve no idea whether Verizon will ever sell the Droid DNA in red to the regular folks. Would you want one?
