We know that the soon-to-be-launched Samsung Galaxy S4 will have a number of “smart” technologies, including Smart Scroll, Smart Pause, Smart Stay and Smart Rotation. But that’s not all with SamMobile adding new information to the rumor pile.
You see, for its next flagship, the Korean company prepared a new kind of AMOLED screen, one that uses the material called “green PHOLED” which relies on GREEN-YELLOW colors to make it up to 25% more efficient (when compared to other AMOLED screens), hence prolonging the battery life. We’re not sure whether this will bring any visible differences — between this screen and the one used in the Galaxy S III — but it’s likely, this will provide equally or even great picture quality.
Another thing that the next Galaxy S will have is floating touch support, which is something only certain Galaxy Note devices have, namely Galaxy Note II and Galaxy Note 10.1. However, unlike those two, the future Galaxy S4 owners will be able to accomplish the same thing and get quick previews without S-Pen. Pretty amazing when you think about it.
Again, Samsung has scheduled the Galaxy S4 announcement for March 14th when we should get all the details, pricing and availability included. Stay tuned as we bring you more…
