The long-time rumored Motorola X phone may not be released in late June or July as we previously thought. Heck, we were hoping Google will initially unveil the device at its annual Google I/O event next month, but apparently that won’t be the case.
According to PhoneArena and its sources, Moto’s flagship release date was pushed to “August or later,” though the same sources don’t go into detail explaining why such a move was made.
We do hear that the device is still in the early prototype phase, boasting specs that include a 4.7-inch 1080p screen, Android 4.2 and a ton of built-in storage to compensate for the lack of a microSD memory card slot.
One thing is certain, we can’t wait to try out the Motorola X once it’s out and in the meantime, we’ll keep watching for the latest rumors coming from Mountain View. Stay tuned…
