AT&T's HTC One X+ gets bug fixing update, Android 4.2 not included

AT&T has released a small, bug-fixing update for the HTC One X+, bringing the firmware version to 1.19.502.1. Sadly, the new software doesn’t include Android 4.2, but you’ll get Address Book, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi tweaks, as well as other minor bug fixes.

As far as we’ve understood, the update is still not rolling out over-the-air, and for the time being, you’ll have to use your PC to get all of the goodies listed above. Or wait for the moment when you’ll be able to accomplish the same thing right from your phone.

If you opt to get the firmware update right now, simply follow the easy-to-grasp instructions posted at HTC’s support pages and before you know it, you’ll get these updates. HTC suggests that your battery is charged to at least 30% though we always say that you should have a full battery, just in case (God forbid) something goes wrong. Good luck. 😉
