LG is holding a press event next week in NYC and the official invite that hit our inbox today suggest the company will use the event to introduce the Optimus G Pro to a United States audience. Besides the smartphone star of the show, the night-time shindig will also feature the “Indie music sensation Atlas Genius.” The timing of this May 1st press event fits in perfectly with the rumored early May arrival of the Optimus G Pro on AT&T.
The Optimus G Pro sports a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a full HD screen, a 13-megapixel rear-camera, 3G/4G, Wi-Fi, and more. It ships with LG’s own Android overlay, which complements the phone. We took a look at the Optimus G Por earlier this year and you can read our review here.
