Fake Galaxy S4 shows up in China

To tell you the truth we’re kinda disappointed with Chinese cloners. It took them almost three months to release the Galaxy S4 rip-off. Usually they’re faster unveiling their own “versions” of popular devices within a month or so. Heck, we’ve seen some phones getting their Chinese “counterparts” even before they were officially announced.

Anyway, the No.1 S6 is just what you expect it to be – a blatant copy of Sammy’s flagship smartphone. It doesn’t come even close to the high-end specs of the Galaxy S4, but it will deliver value for the money, presuming you can live with a fake device like this one.

There’s a 13-megapixel rear camera, 3-megapixel front-facing one, MediaTek’s MT6589 1GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, 5-inch HD (720p?) IPS screen, and a memory card slot. If it had a different (read: original) design, we would consider getting one of these and use it as a second device. Since that’s not the case, we can’t but suggest you to avoid buying one for yourself – you can choose from a number of other perfectly legit phones…
