Now we’re confident what the upcoming HTC One Mini will be all about – just like its name says it will be a smaller and less powerful version of HTC’s flagship device as you can attest for yourself from the photo above. You can’t help but love its aluminum unibody and the way it will feel in hand — we know how the “regular” HTC One feels in hand so we tend to guess that a smaller version will even better fit our hands.

Here’s what we know thus far – the HTC One Mini will pack:

  • 4.3-inch screen of unknown resolution – 720p HD (1280×720) or qHD (540×960), we’re hoping for the former
  • 1.4GHz dual-core processor – most likely Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 which is the same CPU used in the HTC First
  • Ultrapixel camera on the back
  • Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Sense 5 UI and BlinkFeed
  • No IR blaster
  • Stereo speakers on the front, Beats Audio branding on the back

We’re still not sure when HTC will officially launch the One Mini, but we’re hearing it will start selling at some point in the third quarter. More to come, obviously…
