Huge Sega Sale on Xbox Live

Microsoft has announced some deep discounts on a huge selection of Sega games and DLC. The discounts are good until June 24th, so act fast!

There are more great deals here than you can shake a Dreamcast mariachi controller at, and we’ve listed them all below. There are a gazillion amazing titles on sale from Sega’s past 20 or so years. It’s nearly impossible to pick a highlight with so many games on sale, but here goes:

I highly recommend grabbing Sonic Generations for only $9.99 and Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown including its character packs for just 1600 Microsoft Points.

The former got Sonic’s physics and speed just right while revitalizing the franchise and adding tons of new content. Sonic Generations looks and plays wonderfully and it brings a huge amount of 2D and 3D Sonic for 10 bucks.

The latter, Virtua fighter 5, is as deep and martial arts accurate a fighter as any of its predecessors. The base game is a steal at only 400 MP, but the depth, variability and sheer hilarity of the character creation system makes the character packs well worth the download too.

As far as classic titles, picking up Sonic 1 through 3 and Sonic CD for just 160 MP a piece is also a heck of a deal on some of Sega’s masterpieces. Of course, these old Sonic titles are available pretty cheaply on just about every platform imaginable, so there’s a good chance you’ve already got them.
