If you’re already sold on Sony’s upcoming Z Ultra phablet, then you still have a while before it will be gracing shelves. But if you’re in the UK, you can start your countdown now, as the Xperia Z Ultra will be hitting shelves (virtual shelves, at least) on September 13th.
The Sony Xperia Z Ultra is an insanely powerful devices that rocks a 6.4 inch TRILUMINOS HD display, 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, 8 megapixel camera, 3,000 mAh battery, and just about any other bell and whistle you could imagine. Like the Xperia Z, the Z Ultra also shares its dust and water resistance capabilities, allowing it to be submerged under a meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
The Z Ultra will currently up for pre-order at Expansys for £639.99. There’s still no official word on US availability, but we do hope that it will be available through a carrier and not just it’s unsubsidized pricing.
