Halo: Spartan Assault is now available for Verizon customers with Windows Phone 8 devices, and is available for download at the Windows Store. Windows 8 and Windows RT users can also download the game, which costs $6.99 on all platforms. The game is currently only available on Windows Phone 8 for Verizon customers, but will be available to all Windows Phone 8 users on August 16th.
Halo: Spartan Assault delivers a touch-based campaign which spans 25 levels. The game is set before the events of Halo 4, and brings many of the favorite Halo weapons, vehicles into the mix. Players will also be able complete weekly challenges to earn XP, as well as challenge friends to epic deathmatches.
