Two of the largest carriers in Canada, Rogers and Bell, are bringing additional live TV content to their customers’ devices. Actually, the two are not only adding new but also swapping existing channels to provide even more choices o the users.

For instance, Rogers expanded its portfolio with the addition of TSN and TSN2, as well as Bell’s CTV and CTV Two; while Bell added live coverage of the Toronto Blue Jays, plus Rogers-owned City and Sportsnet channels (including Sportsnet East, Sportsnet Ontario, Sportsnet West and Sportsnet Pacific).

That’s pretty sweet and we would like even more carriers to be included in the upcoming mobile TV revolution, if that [revolution] ever happens. In the meantime, if you want to enjoy TV on your phone through Rogers or Bell, you’ll have to pour out $5 for 10 hours of mobile TV viewing. It’s not that much but it can easily add up if you get addicted to this habit.
