Looks like Lenovo is working on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800-powered device. We don’t have much, but we do know the phone or tablet (we think it’s the former) marked as X910 has been caught at Antutu, or at least the image above suggests something of that sort. As you can see for yourself, it says that this device runs Android 4.2.2, boasts a processor clocked at 2150MHz, while achieving 29231 points. And apparently that’s the score some other Snapdragon 800-powered devices achieved in the past, hinting us this could be a real deal. Or a great Photoshop scam; we’re really not sure at the moment.
We do, however, know Lenovo is an ambitious company which wants to get into the higher ends of the market. And in that sense having a fast smartphone with Qualcomm’s best chip certainly helps. And we do hope this particular unit, presuming it exists, will make it to the Western hemisphere rather than being “stuck” in China. As soon as we catch a new detail or two, we’ll get back to you, have no doubts about it…
