Some rumors of a new plastic-covered HTC device have been floating around lately, and thanks to a report from LlabTooFer some more details of the mid-range device have emerged. The HTC Zara is expected to be manufactured in plastic instead of HTC’s signature aluminum, and will tout specs close to those of the HTC One mini. The rumored specs of the HTC Zara are as follows:
- Dual Core 1.4Ghz Qualcomm 400 processor
- 4.5 inch qHD resolution display
- HTC UltraPixel Camera on rear, 1.6MP front-facing camera
- 8GB of internal storage
- 1GB of RAM
- microSD card slot for memory expansion
- Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n
- Bluetooth 4.0
- Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
- Sense 5.0
The device is expected to be making an appearance on Sprint’s network in the U.S., and to be touting Dual-Sim capability when (and if) it rolls out in Asian markets. We have still not received an official announcement or release date, so stay tuned for more details as they emerge.
