EE is continuing its pursuit of expanding 4G LTE coverage to all the United Kingdom. To combat its revivals O2 and Vodafone, EE announced to the public that it has brought LTE to more than 100 markets. Accrington in Lancashire was named as the hundredth EE 4G town, while others such as Ashford, Bicester, Colchester, Guildford, Milton Keynes, Redhill, Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells and Woking are to follow.

The British operator says it covers 60 percent of the U.K.’s population with its 4G network. Some locations who already have 4G coverage from EE got a bump in network speed that doubles the performance.

EE’s competition with O2 and Vodafone will continue to heat up as both companies are expected to do their own rollout of 4G LTE in London and surrounding areas, starting tomorrow.
