Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Gear smartwatch is set to be unveiled at Samsung’s Unpacked press event on September 4th, and a new photo from @evleaks gives us the first glimpse of the Android app that will help pair the smartwatch with an Android device.
The photo shows screenshots from the Samsung Gear Manager app, revealing that the smartwatch will utilize NFC to initiate the pairing process with an Android device, and then use Bluetooth to communicate. Also pictured is a screen that lets users set the settings for their Galaxy Gear.
