Alcatel Reveals One Touch S and One Touch Mini

Alcatel has a few new smartphones to add to its roster, the One Touch Idol S and the One Touch Idol Mini. The two Android based devices are the next in Alcatel’s Idol line, following the Idol Ultra and the Idol X. While the Idol S and Idol mini vary in size, they both run Android 4.2, and have microSD cards for memory expansion up to 32GB. Specifications for both models follow below.

Alcatel One Touch Idol S

  • 4.7-inch IPS HD display with 720×1280 pixels resolution
  • 1.2GHz dual-core processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • 4GB internal storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card
  • 8-megapixel rear camera
  • 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera
  • 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS
  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean

Alcatel One Touch Mini

  • 4.3-inch FWVGA display with 480×854 pixels resolution
  • 1.3GHz dual-core processor
  • 512MB RAM
  • 4GB internal storage, expandable up to 32GB (single SIM)
  • 8GB internal storage, non-expandable (dual SIM)
  • 5-megapixel rear camera
  • VGA front-facing camera
  • 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS
  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
