Nokia Lumia 1020 price slashed to $199 in Amazon one day sale

The Nokia Lumia 1020 is no doubt AT&T’s best Windows Phone 8 handset, so when it gets a decent price cut it’s worth mentioning. The 1020 has been brought down from its normal $249 price tag to $199, of course, after customer accepts a new two-year agreement.

Unfortunately, this deal will only last today, as it is apart of Amazon.com’s ‘One Day Sale’. Amazon is often called “the Walmart of the internet” because of the company’s aggressive price points. The e-commerce giant is selling the Nokia Lumia 1020 $100 cheaper compared to the price ($299) shown in AT&T retail stores or through a Microsoft store (albeit, Mr. Softy includes a free camera grip for the $299).

It’s no need for us to further hype how good of a deal this is if you’re in the market for a Windows Phone 8 handset. The price tag speaks for itself.

As a refresher, the Nokia Lumia 1020 carry’s a 41-megapixel backside illuminated sensor, Zeiss wide-angle optics with six lenses, optical image stabilization, and Xenon flash. In addition to its camera hump on the back, the 1020 packs a 1.5Ghz dual-core S4 processor , a 4.5-inch 1280 x 768 display, 2GB of RAM and a 2,000mAh capacity battery.

Anyhoo, customers can snatch this square beauty in all colors including matte yellow, black and white. Too bad Nokia abandon the Cyan color for the 1020 models.
