ASUS MeMO Pad FHD LTE 10.0 lands at AT&T: $300 on-contract, $400 outright

AT&T is on the roll, adding a bunch of new devices to its portfolio. Their latest target is ASUS’ weirdly named tablet, MeMO Pad FHD LTE 10.0. The carrier is selling it for $300 on a two-year contract or for $400 sans any strings attached. You got that right, AT&T expects you to put a signature on a two-year contract and get just $100 in subsidy in return. Don’t do it!

Aside from a 10-inch full HD screen, ASUS’ baby also packs Qualcomm’s 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core chip, 16GB of expandable storage (using microSD cards), 6,760mAh battery, 5-megapixel rear and 1.2-megapixel front cameras, and ASUS SonicMaster audio technology and speaker system.

Overall, the MeMO Pad FHD LTE 10.0 is not a bad tablet, but we’re really hoping that AT&T has just scratched the surface and that soon enough it will add some other product made by the Taiwanese company. Yeah, we’re rooting for the PadFone which thus far hadn’t attracted much interest from carriers all around the world…
