Roku owners can now stream videos directly from their Android devices to the big screen. Roku has added their Play On feature to the Roku Android app, which supports Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4, HTC One and Nexus 7 devices. Play On functionality requires a Roku player with software version 5.1 or later, and works best when connected to a router that supports the 802.11N Wi-Fi protocol. The feature works with Roku 3, Roku 2, Roku HD, Roku LT and the Roku Streaming Stick.

The Roku Android app can be downloaded from the Play Store.
