Samsung Galaxy S4 mini will finally be available in Canada in October. While we’re still not sure which carriers will sell it, we’re guessing that all major ones will jump on board. Up until this point only TELUS confirmed it will offer the petite version of Sammy’s flagship device but it’s safe to assume that Rogers and Bell will join the party, as well.
Specs wise, the “mini” comes with a 4.3-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) screen, 8-megapixel rear and 1.9-megapixel front cameras, 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, while Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is running the show. As such, it will be more affordable than the Galaxy S4, while offering a comparable experience though on a smaller screen.
All said, we expect Samsung to move quite a few minis in Canada… and elsewhere for that matter.
