Alleged Nexus 5 Benchmarks Are Screamin’

The Nexus 5 is all but officially announced, and the latest benchmarks of the device have it screaming past the competition in the graphics arena.

The off-screen graphics performance of the device, which beat out many existing Android handsets around, match the likes of the iPhone 5S. This is leading some to believe that the Nexus 5 will ship with the Adreno 330 GPU. You can check out the benchmarks here.

We’re going to hedge our bets and assume that the Nexus 5 will share a majority of the innards found in the LG G2. The Nexus 5 is rumored to rock a 5.2 inch 1080p HD display, Snapdragon 800, 2GB RAM, and 13 megapixel camera. It’s also long been rumored that LG would again be making the next Nexus device, and with possible sightings already out in the open, it seems like a shoe-in.

Both the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 4 were announced in the month of October, and with rumors already pointing in that direction, we may only have a few weeks to find out what Google has been working on.

Of course, it’s not just about the hardware. The Nexus 5 will also ship with the latest version of the OS, Android 4.4 KitKat. Little is known about the impending release but we don’t have much longer to wait.
