A miniature Moto X spotted in FCC filing

As promised, Motorola looks to be working on bringing to customers a low-cost variant of its latest flagship phone, the Moto X. Although the company has yet to officially announce the device; photos of a miniature version of the Moto X seems to have appeared on Motorola’s recent FCC filing.

Judging by the photo above, this mystery handset clearly has the same design to that of the current Moto X smartphone out today. So it’s safe to say a smaller version hitting stores before the holidays isn’t too far off.

A device like this will definitely grab the attention of customers looking to get a decent phone at an affordable price. However, we’re not sure if a smaller model is something Motorola should be focusing on at this point.
