Yesterday, Best Buy announced that it would be carrying the iPhone 5c for only $50 on a new contract, which is a pretty great deal for the normally priced $99 handset. Well, if you’re looking shave just a little more off of the price tag, you can grab the iPhone 5c for $45 at Walmart, starting today.
While Best Buy’s price cut of the iPhone 5c will only go on until next Monday, Walmart’s deal on the handset will last through the holiday season.
The iPhone 5c normally runs for $99 on a new two-year contract, so seeing the price of the handset drop by select retailers this quickly could be a lack of consumer interest. The iPhone 5c certainly has its perks over last year’s iPhone 5, but people will likely find much more value by coughing up the extra $100 for the iPhone 5s.
