If you’ve been looking to grab something for your child this holiday season, perhaps Samsung has something for you. Its recently unveiled Galaxy Tab 3 Kids will start selling in the U.S. on November 10th when you’ll be able to get it for $229.99. Or, if you want to be among the first ones to get this 7-inch tablet, you can pre-order it as early as November 1st.

As you may know from our previous post, this is a special version of the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, boasting a child-friendly look and feel, educational games and apps, parental controls and other stuff that will keep your child safe on the Internet.

“Today’s kids are incredibly tech-savvy and regularly use technology at home, at school and on-the-go,” said Nanda Ramachandran, vice president of emerging business, Samsung Mobile. “Studies show that 70 percent of tablet owners share their tablets with their children. The Galaxy Tab 3 Kids is engaging, encourages learning and fosters creativity in a safe environment that parents can easily manage.”

As part of your purchase, you also get $10 for the purchase of applications, books, movies and music in Google Play; free 12-months of Boingo Mobile Wi-Fi access; 3-Month Hulu Plus Membership for new users; two years of up to 50GB of DropBox storage; and more, as part of Sammy’s Galaxy Perks program.

So, is this something you want for your child? Or you prefer the “real deal?” Do let us know in the comments below…
