Samsung Galaxy S4 with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 chip has been launched by Orange France. Called Galaxy S4 Advance, the same device is known elsewhere as Galaxy S4 LTE-A or Galaxy S4 LTE+, so this time round – we prefer the “French way”…
Aside from a faster processor, this model also supports faster mobile data speeds of up to 150Mbps thanks to LTE-A support.
Compared to the “regular” Galaxy S4, the Galaxy S4 Advance is much faster. While the original model rocked Snapdragon 600 CPU, the new one comes with the improved Snapdragon 800 chip, clocked at 2.2GHz. This is the same processor found in Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3, and many other high-end devices released in the second half of this year. Yeah, it’s about time the Korean company launches this, improved model all around the world…
When it comes to pricing, Orange France is selling the S4 Advance for €689.90 sans contract. If you want it on a two-year term, you’ll have to commit on a €79.90 per month plan, and shell out €69.90 for the device upfront.
