BLU Products announced a slew of new products, including its very first tablet, the Life View TAB. As it’s usually the case with the company’s products, this is a mid-end device with specs that include an 8-inch IPS 1024×768 screen, MediaTek’s 1.2GHz quad-core chip, dual 5-megapixel cameras, 1GB of RAM, Wi-Fi and HSPA+ connectivity. All this is packed into an 8.9mm-thin aluminum body.
The Live View TAB will start shipping before the end of January in Steel Blue and White colors, in either 3G 850/1900/2100 or 850/1700/1900 variants. The price is set at $199.

In addition, BLU has also announced immediate price cuts of its existing Life Series of devices. Under the new arrangement, the Life Play’s price will drop to $199, Life View to $269.00, and Life One to $269. There are also new colors available, including Steel Blue of the Life View, along with Steel Blue and Chrome Grey for the Life One.
