BLU Products unveiled a new mid-range device – Vivo 4.8 HD. It’s a pocketable smartphone with 6.9mm thin chassis that offers great value for the money. The underlying specs include a 4.8-inch 720p HD screen, MediaTek’s quad-core chip clocked at 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal (non-expandable) storage. Moreover, it also packs a pair of cameras: 8-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Android 4.2 is running the show right from the get-go but BLU promises further software updates in the months to come.
Unfortunately though, LTE connectivity support doesn’t come included and you’ll rather have to settle with HSPA+ speeds that go up to 42Mbps and are supported by AT&T and T-Mobile networks.
Arguably the best part is the ability to pick the color you want — the Vivo 4.8 HD is available in Matte Black, Ceramic White, Electric Neon Yellow and Glimmer Pink. Yeah, we think it’s definitely worth $250, what do you say?
